Banana & bread pudding

Après-midi chaude. Vendredi. On prépare le week-end. Une maison propre. Des idées de menu. De dîners entre amis. Une soirée ce soir. Sous le dôme au Lite Bar. Lil things... & white chocolate cheesecake with a red fruit glaze

These last days in bulk...en vrac: I had a Sunday'lunch with my bro S & O. I made squash gnocchi with a cheese sauce & a cheesecake that day {recipe down}. I heart cheesecakes. I went shoping with O. to prepare my nephew's arrival. I am done with reading "anges & demons". Sunday Pavlova

Two weeks ago {or already more?}we had a really nice Sunday'lunch @ our place with my inlaws. Au menu: a kind of yummy choucroute made by my mom in law, followed by a pavlova aux fruits des bois made by myself. Une quiche pour patienter!

C'est un peu laissé a l'abandon ici, je viens donc poster une recette histoire de vous faire patienter... Le genre de recette que l'on adapte selon les fonds de placard ou de frigo, toujours réussie, meilleure réchauffée le lendemain, parfaite pour un pique nique par une belle journée d'hiver fraîche & ensoleillée... une quiche! My first cake' order, Happy Birthdays & trivial stuff...

No excuses. I have been pretty busy. And lazy too. A lot have happened in the last weeks. Events on which B. was working. That left me without a hubby for several days. Even on my birthday. {Darling thanks again for managing to spend the morning with me in the midst of this huge pre-prod!}. Our 3' year wedding anniversary. My 28th birthday {yep no hiding}. Comfi food for a lazy winter day

To end the week-end with a warm comfort dish, here's an efficient recipe for lazy busy winter days. A combination of simple & subtle savours. A surprisingly successful marriage. Just cook a pack of gnocchis di patate & throw in some boiled patty pan with the simplest ingredients such as olive oil, parmigiano & fleur de sel. So... For Mother's day

I just watched this movie Un Conte de Noel. I still have to let it sink in. A true French movie as I like them. Slow & brutal images of life. Exuberant characters & all a lil deranged. Still something so precious that is not put into words, but that you can catch a glimpse of all along. So I won't try to explain here. Will keep it for myself.
