Fly is his name
Wow I just can't believe I still havent found time to tell you about this wonderful & beautiful lil being who entered our lives 3 weeks ago...
A lil storm indeed, but so gorgeous, with so much love & innocence...
Who teaches us patience, sacrifice, love, care, mothering & fathering...
Who brings us so much joy, fun, laughs, & pride...
Well enough reeling off... He's 2 months & 3 weeks old... His name is Fly cos I believe he can do so {but only when we're asleep...}
... & believe me, it's not a dog-lover talking to you... When this surprise hit me 3 weeks ago, I was not prepared for it! But I've learnt to love him & to let him love me! He's pretty clever hey?!

Otherwise those last days have been hectic as you can imagine- working on Ayo's concert, raising up our puppy & the everyday routine just didnt leave me one minute to even think about anything else!
So it was a very special time finaly being able to relax on Sunday & share a poikikos with the family, under the shade of the mango trees or in the hammock!

Ayo
I thought I'd come by, just drop a lil note to explain my silence during the last weeks. Well reason is, I am now a Silent Partner too! I moved into the office with my desk, and my responsabilities. One of them is the keeping of accounts. Another one {probably more interesting than the first}is Ayo's concert.
Ayo playing live in Mauritius on Friday the 7th of August at the Swami Vivekananda Centre. So for all of you who are around on that date "you'd better run run run run run for my soul..."for a ticket! {at the Habit's shops @ Rs 400 & Rs 800}
So please bare with me for some time... while I learn to bring into balance my new working life, my kitchen & baking, my home cleaning & déco, my veg'garden, my social & family'life, and all the rest that makes my everyday...

Petit sejour a Trou d'Eau Douce
Kitesurf a TDD
B. is away visiting a friend tonight & I am on my own... but I must admit actually that I quite enjoy being by myself sometimes. B. insisted that I invite a friend, but I didn't feel like it. I rather felt like having a relaxed evening, baking some cantucci, watering my veg garden, exercising a lil & watching a fleur bleu movie with a plateau tele made of a risotto au fromage blanc & potiron, with a side salad of rocket from the garden, & a cantucci for dessert. Now with all this food I think I've eaten too much & am now drinking an ayapana herbal tea to digest before going to bed!

I wanted to share some photos of the family' week-end in Trou d'Eau Douce. My uncle J. & his family were here for a short holiday & so we spent a few days with them, enjoying the reunion, the sea & wind for B.'s kitesurf, the nice walks on the beach, the swimming, the reading... & the long meals of course {despite the fact that every meal was taken 3 hours late & was an opportunity for the aunties to argue about trivial subjects!}
